Begin with the intention.
A sketch, written brief or reference can begin the conversation. Explain which features matter most: the silhouette, a particular stone, the feel on the hand, or a target weight and price.
The development scope is agreed before work begins. It should identify the deliverables, review stages, included revisions, fees and ownership of the resulting files.
Review more than the render.
CAD allows a design to be reviewed in three dimensions. Alongside its appearance, consider the stone dimensions, setting access, wall thickness, balance, sizing and any moving parts.
Rendered gold weight and appearance are estimates until manufacturing details are resolved. Agree how final weight and any material differences will be handled.
Design review
Identify important features and resolve technical questions before sampling.
CAD development
Translate the agreed brief into a model for review and manufacturing planning.
Sample review
Evaluate proportion, construction, finish and wearability where a physical sample is commissioned.
Written approval
Record the accepted specification and any changes before production begins.
Bring the details that matter.
Include accurate stone measurements, ring size or chain length, desired gold colour, quantity and budget. For an existing CAD file, confirm that you have the right to use and manufacture the design.
Complex settings and unusual stones may need additional development. Timing and sample costs are quoted after reviewing the brief.
